Geo F. Trumpers Skin Food

So I use Geo F. Trumpers Skin Food as part of my post shave routine. For those who like to know the details, post-shave I rinse with cold water and even do the cold towel to the face if I have time. Afterward, I use witch hazel and let it dry for approximately 30 seconds before applying Coral Geo F. Trumpers Skin Food. Maybe 30 seconds afterward I use Nivea for Men Sensitive Skin after-shave balm ("ASB"). This completes my shave.

Now, this question may sound weird, but honestly - am I basically over-killing the ASBs? Do gentlemen typically use Skin Food and then another ASB? I really don't know what benefits Skin Food has/doesn't have that may be supplemented by the Nivea or visa versa.

What results do you get from your routine? If the results are superior to everything else you've tried, why not? If they aren't, three products might be a little excessive.
I also use Trumpers skin food, sometimes pre, sometimes after or even before I go to sleep. I can't really point out the exact benefits, but I like it. To me it's just nice to have, not really necessary.
