This incredibly handsome and imminently practical shaving bag is actually styled after an early 20th century British army officer's tan crossboarded leather travel kit. When closed it measures a compact 10¼" x 6¼", opened it measures a roomy 10¼" x 16¾". Brass buckle & strap fastening, with various pockets and leather loops for storing. Didja' ever see the movie, Peter Pan? Remember the crocodile? "Never Smile at a Crocodile!" The one that nibbled crusty old Hook's hand off? Kinda' looks like that, only shaped like the above, I bet.

Here is an image of the Alligator print. Bought it last year. FYI it's made by Daines and Hathaway, a fine English company. You might want to confirm color availability as you can see that the one Ron sent images of is obviously not black.

I really like the pack and found it adequate for weekend trips but I found that I really needed a bit more space for a trip to Paris lasting over 2 weeks. That said, you can really pack all that you need but if you are a slave to the pleasure of rotation, as I am, you'll have to discipline yourself to taking a non-rotation selection of stuff. I don't regret buying it for one minute. It's really a fine piece of luggage.

i know being a dopp kit type item it isnt often carried alone or out in view but am i alone in thinking it looks a bit like a purse when folded up? rolled out looks great though, guess that's what counts
