I got a puck of this recently in a small BST purchase. Signature scent. I was really interested in the other two items it came with and figured I would just pass this off after the fact. Well, when I got the goods this puck had a very fresh scent. A lot like baby powder, but pretty pleasing and certainly not offensive. I thought maybe I should give it a run before I got rid of it so I lathered it up and got a really good lather from a short load onto a PJ3. In all it was a good shave. So I decided to give a fair shake and mashed it into the bottom of a shave mug so I could get a better load next time(it came in a Cella tub from the seller). Well, this morning I loaded the PJ up a little more and DAMN, I got a ton of thick, rich, moist lather. Bowl lathered both times btw. The shave was fantasic, and I will NOT be getting rid of this soap. It has made the rotation(for now)
I later looked it up as I was not really familiar with the brand other than knowing about it being Third Eye Ray's venture and a reference to SCS. Well, I must say that the whole line is very reasonable in price and if you haven't already, it is worth the effort to give the GB products a look. I can only speak for the soap of course, but even if it's just for that then there is some fantastic value to be had.
