Gentleman's Best Shave Stick

Despite having been DE shaving for much of the last 50 years, ntil 30-minutes ago I was a shave stick virgin.

Wow. I have been missing something. Today I used the shave stick (Gentlemen's Best Signature Series) I purchased from Ray last Tuesday when I first visited his shop. I had very modest expectations as I am a face latherer who shaves in the shower. I even brought a tube of proraso into the shower with me in case things worked out badly with the shave stick.

Quite the contrary, the stick worked exactly as Ray described and my shave is very good. I'm impressed.

I'm a "shave stick virgin" myself. I've been eyeing up the Arko sticks for quite some time now... perhaps I should just bite the bullet and grab one. It isn't like they're expensive anyway.

As I said, it was quite a pleasant surprise, especially since I was expecting so little.

My biggest reason for buying the shaving stick is that i liked Ray and I wanted to buy from him what I could. Sometimes, these things just work out.
