GEM SE Blades, Coated Vs. Uncoated, Worth The Extra Cost?

Until now I have been buying my single edge blades at the drug store in 10-packs (coated or uncoated?), I decided that the GEM blades are the brand I am going to stick with and am now ready to buy them in bulk (100), my question is are the coated blades worth the extra cost, they probably glide better and more rust resistant but are they that much better than the uncoated blades?

I don't see any difference between the coated and uncoated. They're both stainless steel and won't rust. There's a distinct difference between the GEM and the carbon steel Treet blades. The soft steel rusts very quickly but the blades are just wicked sharp. They're my favorite SE blades and are really, really cheap.

BTW, this thread probably belongs in the SE sub-forum.
