Gem SE, 1912 Head

I picked up one of these a while back with an Adjustable Slim purchase. I paid practically nothing for it. They are everywhere out there on Ebay going dirt cheap, and looking at it, I thought, "no way am I shaving with that thing!" But today I did, and it`s a great performer. It`s on the aggressive side, and I don`t have a heavy beard, but I was just real careful, found the proper angle and went with the flow. It did the job real nicely, and only one tiny nick in a four pass shave. The single blade I used was the Personna Gem brand I found at Walgreens.

I also found one cheap a few months ago at a yard sale. I've been hooked on GEM's ever since. I've been trying out a Micromatic Clog Pruf the last couple of weeks. Nice, but I still think that 1912 is better. Welcome to the world of SE.
