Bought a GEM Micromatic on EBay. Close BBS shave equal to that of my Feather and straight razors. No cuts or nicks. Did GEM develop the ultimate razor 50-100 years ago?

Be sure you buy a blade such as GEM made for shaving. Other blades are designed for handicrafts and won’t give any sort of acceptable shave.I used the red label ones. After a few rough shaves I sent it to the showers. Maybe a dud blade.

I used two newly acquired razors this morning. Unfortunately today's was far from a good shave. I'm confident it is not the razors that are at fault. I believe it was a combination of sub par lather and my last shave although feeling very CCS, leaving my neck a little bumpy, also even though I...www.badgerandblade.com
