Garlic keepers

I have two an clay one and a copper one..Keeps my garlic for weeks..

I've been growing my year's supply of garlic each summer for 25 years now, i hang it in the basement stored in mesh onion bags. Next harvest, third week of July or so. Only once have a run out before i could harvest the next crop and the garlic i found and bought was pathetic.

I would, but my back say otherwise..So I stuck to buying it by the head..

We have a terra cotta one, ourselves, and it's worked well for many, many years.

Are ya'll peeling the garlic first? Or storing them in the wrapper?

In it's natural wrapper, harvest too late and have the bulbs blowing out of the wrapper and they won't keep very well, use any that have blown through as the first to eat or any if there's any still around at planting time, plant those.
