A few weeks ago I stumbled on an old strop I used to use maybe two decades ago.Used ut for my axes and pocket knives.
I cleaned it, put some grease on it and stropped all my razors with it . To my surprise all my blades gave a better shave
than with the old homemade one.
Never believed it but strops can make a difference.
