Reading the local paper last night, and read about a meeting of the kzoo beards society. The travesty!

Hmm. Prior to 2009, I hadn't shaved my face in over 6 years...I trimmed and kept a very light beard mind you, but no razor had touched my face in years. Now, having joined B&B, I want to shave every couple hours...

I too was an avid beard afficionado for a good couple years until I discovered the real way to shave. Even before that, in the military, I seldom shaved on weekends unless I was working. Now I don't remember the last time I missed a day.

More power to those guys. A couple of years back the World beard Championships or something along those lines was in the next town over. It was amazing. The work they put into sculpting with waxes and trimming and such makes our hobby pale.

I'm torn between shaving and having a beard. I keep half and half - a mustache/goatee combo plus a little side burn. (I think calling it a circle beard sounds dumb.)
