G20 Scuttle heating it up?

I have only ever used a kettle to boil water and added it to my scuttle. I don't think microwaving is a very good idea...
I fill the scuttle with hot water from tap, and in the mixing section.

empty it out, refill, mix.

Ditto.
Initial fill warms the scuttle and the sink.
Refill refreshes and the scuttle provides plenty of warm lather for 20 minutes.
I fill both the inside and the bowl with tap water, leave the stopper out, microwave for two minutes on high, put the stopper in, dump water out of the bowl, mix lather, shave, remove stopper, dump out inside water (still hot), wipe dry and put away.

Hiking around the house with a scuttle full of boiling water would be a recipe for disaster. My lather is warm enough, but not hot.
However, a microwave in the bathroom... only on B&B.

HAHAHAHA.... classic. THAT is a recipe for disaster. some guy on here has a heater for hot towels in the bathroom.
I live in NYC. I've had bathrooms the size of broom closets.

My bathroom is huge by your standards. Guy at Home Depot thought I was joking when I wanted to put a ceiling fan in there.
Microwave/Boiling water is complete overkill, it just drys the lather anyways, not cool.
