I lost a good amount of weight and a few inches before I started carrying a gun everyday. Most of the old clothes were stacked in the closet, but yesterday my family went through all of our clothes to donate what we didn't need anymore. I realized my holster adds about an inch to my waist, so after trying on most of those pants and shorts with my holster on I "gained" three pairs of pants and a pair of shorts!

Now that I’m older, l like a little elastic in the waist of my britches.
I hear ya. I also like them a bit baggy in the seat.
I've never been one for skinny jeans, even when I was skinny.

No skinny or petite jeans here. Just a few 36" pants and shorts I couldn't fit in any more. Actually one pair of jeans was practically brand new. I think I will them a few times before loosing some size.
