I really want to get an old vintage blade with some really out there or unusual blade art and then have some equally out landish scales made for it to have a really unique, one of a kind razor. Has any one done this kind of thing before? Any pictures would be great!
Unfortunately, I'm struggling to find any really cool blades that fit the bill and that I'd feel comfortable removing the original scales from, I don't want to ruin a little piece of history.
Are there any brands out there that are well known for their blade art that I should be looking out for? And who's best to go to for custom scales?
