Semogue SOC Boar
This brush is such a classic that there is no need to say anything about it. Many believe this is the finest boar brush available. I now prefer 2-band and synthetic brushes, and this is my last remaining boar brush. I actually had two of these, and this one only has 5 shaves in it. The brush clearly has a long way to go before it breaks in, all the tips split, and it develops the characteristic Semogue splay.

Muhle XL Synthetic
This is the 25mm XL version. This brush is seen as one of the best, if not the best, of the synthetics. Soft tips, good backbone, and amazing at creating and releasing lather. This brush has had very light use in a large rotation, and presents as new. Unlike other synthetics, this one has a beautiful handle comparable to high end badger brushes. I'm letting it go because I prefer several of my custom synthetics.
