From Spain - Esencia by Loewe

There is something kinf of fun about a blind buy - unfortunately all to often, for me, it has been a huge waste of money. Thankfully I gave it another try with the purchase of Loewe's Esencia from Spain. I prefer scents the project a clean, fresh out of the shower smell which usually means critrus base. Esencia takes some critrus but then adds something creating a fresh, very masculine scent which now rakes right at the top for me. I would wear it both day and night, formal and informal.

Has anyone else tried this or any other scents from Loewe's?

I prefer the "Loewe pour Homme" it's less powerful than esencia, more notes of vetyver, citrics and herbs in the start and a subtle woody finish. For me more elegant

This is good stuff. Just got a bottle. Can't describe it very well.... but it's a very clean scent.

Is this close to Fougere Royale or Fou d'Absinth at all? Fragrantica says it is an aromatic fougere, but I see a lot of comments calling it a chypre. Not that I know the difference anyway...
