From Parabens to phenoxyethanol? Frying pan into the fire?

If one googles phenoxyethanol and compares it to parabens, it begs this question: Have we just jumped from the frying pan into the fire?

(Neither the frying pan or the fire are good.)

Nah, I'm pretty sure we'll all be fine. Most of the websites warning about the dangers of these products seem either very alarmist or trying to sell something.

Parabens are good, they make your cream last longer. I don't know what the other word means, but it certainly sounds scary.

You do absorb a lot of stuff through your skin I understand. I'm fairly neutral about these things, but I'm kinda concerned about some of these chemicals, personally.

That's what the people who write about these things want. It's mostly all agenda driven.

This topic is a bit of a flogged horse, but if you're worried about these chemicals, you'd better throw out all your shampoos, conditioner, face washes, soaps, deodrant, handwashes, and pretty much anything else around the house.

Not everything chemical is bad for you, not everything natural is good.
