Friday Surprise from the WABAC machine - Clubman!

So, the missus gets a package in the mail today, and after opening it, she starts handing me little bubble wrapped bundles. Slicing them open, I find myself with a small collection of new-old-stock, tightly sealed 1.5 oz. glass sample bottles of Clubman. They came out of a sealed box, apparently, from a basement store-room. Still smells great!

A gift from my barber? Not quite, but a nice little surprise anyway.

Nice looking glass bottles! Where exactly did she get those from? Also the missus is gifting you some shaving gear?? Sounds like a keeper to me!

I honestly have no idea where she got these from. Probably an Etsy or eBay seller she ran across. She said something about them coming from a sealed box of two dozen, and she bought 1/4 of them thinking they were the full-size aftershaves (I had mentioned I was looking for empty Pinaud bottles).

I do have to say that the scent of the vintage juice is slightly sharper and less sweet than the current offering. More musky/oakmoss and less powder.
