Is it bad if shaving creams or after shave balms freeze during transit? I'm from Minnesota and we don't have many non-freezing days left. Do I need to stock up for winter?

Glass bottles will crack, so if you avoid those vessels you should be fine.
I had a tobs cream freeze once and it was ok, just keep it at room temperature for a day or two so everything comes back up to temp, wipe it down for condensation and it should be ok. If you are worried about separation or something I imagine if you shake it up it would be fine.

There is always a good reason to stock up! 
Funny you mention that... NY is getting its first freeze warning of the season tonight, and because of this post I have sudden "Everything Freezable" AD. (Hmm... EFAD)
I imagine most materials should be OK, but as others noted, it can't hurt to stock up now.

I have a tub of trumpers waiting on my freezing porch now. It was delivered by USPS. Hope it's good when I get it in two hours.

+1! Yes indeed! Just in case they change a product, LOTH asks for a ‘shaving sabbatical,’ or some other unforeseen issues arise.
