Fragrances that help you relax

My number 1, go-to relaxation fragrance is Kanon Norwegian Wood.

I don't know if it's my number one, but I definitly agree.
Also for some reason I like Giorgio beverly hills for men...wierd I know, I guess I find patchouli relaxing

I think I'm very much in the minority on this one. I don't really associate relaxation with the fragrance I'm wearing. I understand aroma therapy and how certain scents, like lavender, are conducive to relaxation. And I know some of you apply certain scents to help you relax. I enjoy reading how so many of you enjoy frags this way, I just haven't gone there yet. When I think of relaxation, I think more of enjoying a cigar with a favorite beverage sitting by the pool with nothing to do but enjoy the moment.

+1, my sentiments exactly!

Encre Noire almost gives me a buzz, very relaxing. I love Encre Noire but it's not my top favorite fragrance, for some reason it just meshes with me well and enhances my mood completely.

Diptyque Tam Dao gave me quite a feeling of serenity the first time I wore it. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get a repeat. Admittedly, I haven't worn it much as I only have a small sample.

I was going to post this along with SMW. I am also working with only a small sample vial. Gonna have to do something about that... for my mental health, of course.

Great avatar, BTW!

I have not related fragrances to relaxation yet (although I'm very new to this). But now that I think about it, Lavender could do the trick, also I'm thinking maybe a good sandalwood.

Oud oils. Especially Hindis.

BIG +1 here. Sometimes I'll actually smear a tiny bit of really stinky Hindi oud under my nostrils before going to bed.

I would also add sandalwood oil. A good sandalwood can really activate the ol' reptile part of the brain ... to the point where all you want to do is fall asleep on a warm rock in the sunshine for a few hours.
