Testing Liqueur Charnelle by Pierre Guillaume. Sweet fruity liqueur and slightly powdery pipe tobacco meets vague synthetic woods. Not horrific by any means, but not good.

Sampling some vintage Samsara from the early '90s
Guerlain Vetiver to round off an all Vetiver shave today.
Duke Cannon Huron EDP (ozonic marine notes, sandalwood, and a hint of vetiver).
To me, it smells like a freshwater lake. Fresh and light. The vetiver is subtle, but very good. The sandalwood in the dry-down isn't synthetic smelling, and really pops at the 3-hour mark.

It is a barbershop scent. It seen a light scent compared to other barbershop scents that I have tried.Brother “Lefonque…” again with the “mystery” scents from “PAA?”
Now, you must tell us… what does a “gondolier” smell like?
Better yet, what if the “gondolier” crashed onto the “hotel?”
What would THAT smell like?
On the website it is described as a masculine, old world scent of Italy with every shave! Gondolier is a rich, balanced bouquet of Bergamot, Rose, Jasmine, Oakmoss, Coumarin, Citronella, Juniper & Cedar.
I would use the word pleasant when describing PAA Gondolier. It isn’t in your face.
