I was just writing up a couple of goodbye letters to my assistant and some other employees (last day at current job tomorrow) and I wanted to remind them to keep the fountain pens alive here. All these folks loved and participated in Fountain Pen Day 2012 (only one of them with an actual fountain pen, but at least the rest wrote notes/letters by hand!!
) and I wanted to include some info on Fountain Pen Day 2013 for them. Figured you all might like to know about it too!!
This year, Fountain Pen Day is November 1. Here's the website just in case you didn't save it last year:

Hopefully some or all of the vendors that offered specials last year will do so again this year. Pass the word to friends, family, enemies!! Remember, to participate you don't need a fountain pen, just take the time to write something by hand instead of typing! If they don't have a fountain pen, hold a training seminar for them and enable away!! LOL
