I found a pocket edition at the antique malls today. It had the correct razor head in the case, but no handle. I don't have a handle that fits the head properly so I'm not sure when I'll be able to try out the head.
I need to replace the lining, but the metal trays are in good shape. It came with a nice silver blade case, but it's for the more modern blades so I know it's not original to the set. That's ok with me because I'd rather have a case that fits the modern blades anyhow.
The clip that locks the case shut was originally soldered into the case, and the solder joint has broken. Thankfully, I have the skill to repair this as well as access to the right equipment. I'll solder the clip back into the case and it will function as good as new. I'll post some more pics after I get it all fixed up probably in the next few weeks.
