Happy day for me! Last weekend I picked up British Made Gillette Rocket, complete with red and clear Styrene box. I think that places it around 1949. I shaved with it this morning... sure can see why it's a classic! The chrome is in good shape, no scuffs or brassing. The silo doors open very smooth. If you hold on the knob and give the handle a sharp twist, it'll spin open!

Oh yes, I forgot to mention... I found it with a bunch of other razors at the local thrift store. It was the highest priced, at $7!
