you are right, it´s a nice Rocket HD 500 set from 1959. 500 comes from the price of 500 Franc and was not only sold in 1957.

A "kumpel" is a buddy, colleague, companion, side-kick, "partner-in-crime" (or razor collecting) you get the idea. Probably cognate with the English "chum."Ok...understood everything but Raketenkumpel...which clearly means "Rocket-something...."
