fought my dads old gillette DE adjustable K2 got some questions

so im pretty excited about finding it, it needs a good cleaning what are some ways to clean them up and get them shining again.. and on the adjustable part what is the mildest setting and aggressive setting.. and what year is this, it says K2 on the bottom.. and is this a good DE razor

looks like a slim or a fat boy
use an old tooth brush and some soapy water, baking soda, or even a little tooth paste, also little vinegar mixed with water, wipe it dry
1 is mild and 9 aggressive
