Fougere combo

I never worry about matching my soap/cream scent to my aftershave scent,I rinse my face after shaving so many times ,it just really makes no difference.Sometimes,however, you just hit on a classic combo of great scent/great shave,and this mornings shave provided just that.My recent purchase of 2 bottles of Alpa fougere a/s (Czech Republic) from the pomade-shop.eu at $25 (including shipping),matched with Morisons jentlemen fougere shave cream (India) provided the fougere blast of enjoyment for this great shave.The Alpa was really a true bargain,the scent is powerful and lasts for hours,not the greenest,mossiest scent,but still very pleasurable.A thick ribbed glass bottle with large sturdy cap further enhances the value of this a/s.The Morisons fougere has sadly been discontinued,really a perfect match,and this was a very inexpensive cream with tons of thick lather,a highly condensed formula.The "jentlemen" line still exists and has been changed to "gentlemen" ,although the line-up no longer includes a fougere.Maybe one day 1001seife will order another run of Valobra fougere,another lost classic...
