Hoka One One Gaviotas 3. Fitted by a grad student/former cc runner at a store in Lawrence, KS. Purchased for walking/knocking around a bit and perhaps a bit of waking on a groomed urban trail.

I supinate and need stability.

Last fitted running shoes was a Brooks Adrenaline GTS 15. As much of a comfort/support jump that was over some get me done name brand running shoe, these are a cut above the Brooks. Highly Reccomended.

Hoka One One makes a nice walking shoe. I have a pair of Bondi 5 which is now a couple of models ago.

Very comfortable.

Church’s Air Travel lightweight slippers in burgundy calf this evening. Not as decadent as the red ones but still quite comfortable for a fall evening.

I've got to put some mileage on all the outdoor shoes that I have sitting on trees! The carpet slippers made the "lockdown" a lot more pleasant - those a few nips from various bottles. I have 3 pairs of the Church's bought for next to nothing at large London department store sales in the 1980s. They'd been sitting in a box until a couple of years ago. I started wearing them at an apartment that I keep near my office. They seem to go with steam radiators and creaky floors. The black ones will rotate in next week.

I had to look at the soles and do some research.
They are Civic Duty shoes. I found them at Von Maur department store several years ago.

The double monks broke in enough to clock up their first outdoor mile today. I wasn't desperate to kick them off when I got back either, which is promising.
