Footwear of the Day

I have plenty of AE and J&M dress shoes I wear in the office. But, while sheltering-in-place and working from home I go more casual -

Earlier in this thread there was buzz about Tecovas Earl Roper style boots. I decided to go with the Bourbon Calf version -

Can't wait for them to arrive early next week!

Today it was a pair of Tommy Hilfiger white all-leather high-top sneakers.

What I really like about this pair of sneakers, besides how comfortable they are, is the neat NYC skyline scene on the bottom -

Here's what's coverin' my 'dogs' today, a pair of Bull Boxer shoes -

They may look pretty beat, which I like, but they're actually only about 2 years old. They certainly are comfortable to wear all day long and not bad for under $100.

My latest sneaker acquisition is this pair of Tommy Hilfiger Recycled Lightweight sneakers made of 100% recycled polyester -

I had been looking for a pair of black sneakers that were not leather (for cost considerations) and not canvas (for wet weather considerations). These fit the bill and are kinder to the planet to boot.

Here is my other pair of Bull Boxer shoes. This one is an inside zippered, brown leather boot/sneaker. What I like about it is the boot/sneakers are very comfortable, in-fashion with their white soles, and very reasonably priced (well-under $100) when on sale at DSW.

The other reason I picked them up is because they are business casual and if they get scuffed up I can polish them with the same Saphir shoe polish I use on my AE dress shoes.

Sunshine, beautiful sunshine! Weatherman says we are due for almost an entire week of no rain. Gives the wife and I some time outside to work on the property. I've got 4 cubic yards of natural cedar mulch waiting for me. And, my trusty steel-tip Wolverine work boots are up to the task. What I love about these boots is how durable and comfortable they are for under $125 (at DSW, my home away from home).

Fathers Day gift from the kids.
Replacement for my Mizuno jogging shoes.
Old ones showed some early baldness after less than a year.
Maybe the extended morning walks during lockdown?
