Suede Chukkas?
Now if you had read the fine print in the thread on desert boots you would know that:
a) all desert boots are chukkas but not all chukkas are desert boots.
b) desert boots endow their wearer with “brittle sophistication” making them an essential staple of any man’s wardrobe.
@johnniegold is the most sophisticated person I have encountered and he is anything but brittle. He suggested using pizza grease to condition a pair of Alden PTB’s, but in hindsight, I think he was just messing with me.
I would only recommend pizza grease for suede - it hides most other stains. It could easily ruin shell cordovan.
I don't think Sperry still makes these...20 years old and extremely comfortable.
