They did patent folding razors in the 1950s and 1960s. Most were TINY, credit card that folded into a travel tech size thing.

Honestly, this makes more sense than the short handle "Travel Tech" marketing gimmick of the previous century. I can just see Dr. Jones being turned away from a Pan Am Clipper because his full length ball-end Gillette Tech just brought the plane too close to its weight limit for takeoff.

And I still rock the denim jean shorts. Nevermind cargo.
