I have owned it in the past.... not sure if it was the new or old formulation because I acquired it on the BST ( of course) in December of 2007. I wasn't blown away by it at all.... unique scent, OK lather. No longer in my possession. I do however very much like the Floris JF Aftershave splash and it is used quite often by me as I work through 2 partial bottles I also bought on the BST.
I don't love it or hate it...
