These are great!

Where were these taken? Key Biscayne? Miami Beach?

I remember working the night shift and heading out to the beach after work for sunrise.

Of course, for me sunrise is always so inspiring that I never wanted to go to sleep after that.

Great pictures. I always find sunsets, and sunrises very challenging to take. Not only for the color, but the high dynamic range. Also because its hard to convey the beauty of such a scene on a small print.
I noticed on some of the pics what looked like vignetting. Was this vignetting, or was the sky darker the farther away from the sun (light source)?

Thanks for all the nice comments!

Miamijuggler, these were taken at Southpoint on Miami Beach

bones59, I would like to think that the sky was darker towards the corner because I didn't do a vignette on purpose, and that lens has never done that before at the focal length I was shooting at. I honestly didn't even think about that till you mentioned it.
