Hi

I ordered from eBay THIS Floid after shave lotion:

But received this:

Is it the same ? Different? Worse, better or just a matter of scent?

Looks like the first bottle pictured is the Vigoroso, which has a higher menthol content than the regular Floid, which I think is pictured in the following photos. They are "different," but only in regards to the menthol.

I could see an error like this happening on E-bay. To me, it still looks like you got the real thing, just not the Vigoroso. Your call if you want a refund.

I won't bother. Liked it anyway. And it came a long way from Netherlands to Brazil.

Just a little upset for the lack of attention of the seller.

That's understandable. Kudos to you for making the right decision and keeping it. With the distance involved, return shipping and other costs could prove sobering. It really wouldn't be worth it.

The product is the new Vigoroso that is based on the new Genuine Floid release. The picture refers to the old Vigoroso version.
Product is not a counterfeit, nevertheless the seller did not update their pictures and this is quite annoying.
Here's another thread about the Floid sale to Proraso and the new formulation:

No, they are not the same. The first pic shows the Spanish Mentolado Vigoroso, which is now, to my knowledge, no longer available. The second pic shows the latest Italian The Genuine, produced by the Ludovico Martelli Company (manufacturer of Proraso). For this version of The Genuine they have maintained the same 150ml glass bottle and put the label in Spanish for the Spanish market, in place of the Italian labelling.

My opinion is that the latest The Genuine is by far the finest version of Floid ever made. Not only, the Italians have faithfully recreated the very first, original 1932 fragrance. And they also improved the formula to a much better, more skin friendly version.
