i know they are GEM SE razors, made in USA. the ebay listing said PAT 1912. i know they weren't made in 1912, its just the patent. does anyone know the year they were actually made? or rather a general date range?

also i know there are SE blades for industrial use and SE blades for shaving use. what are some good shaving SE blades?

THANKS EVERYONE! now off to clean these bad boys up

Looks like you got two 1912s and a 1924 Shovelhead.

As for blades, this tread should really be stickied.

They were made anywhere from 1912 on into the 50's. I believe that ornate handle is probably 20's, but someone with more knowledge about that may be able to give a better answer.

Your set up to be a Lover of SE Shaving.
i just might be, i've never used an SE before. i bid on these because they looked cool and were vintage. it didn't occur to me they were SE until after i won the auction. i'd call that fate
