First vintage - need help

I was at the flea market today and found this:

What model is this? There is a 1920 stamped at the lower end of then handle.
Is this more aggressive than the Merkur HD?

The knob at the bottom and the top part seems to be loose. How should I fix these?

Ball-end NEW, long comb, Made in Canada. It predates the NEW patent in Canada. I think that means 1929-1931.

You could epoxy the handle if you like. I would not bother unless it impairs use of the razor, but I generally use NEW heads with other handles anyway.

Yes it is a Ball End New. If you can find a short comb guard for it it will be even more aggressive. Nice score, these are very popular amongst us B&Bers.
