Adam, great synopsis! My Q-Shave scuttle yields nice warm lather.

I see that you are approaching your ten year anniversary at B&B. We will have to throw you a party when that day arrives.
My first scuttle was huge. Tons of room for a big brush, but it did sometimes generate too much heat for some creams.
For the past 5 years or so I've been using a Georgetown G12. It seemed a little small at first, but it's the perfect size and easy to hold in my left hand while building lather. Warmer lather for the second pass is wonderful, and a great place to soak a boar brush, as well as clean it after the shave.
