That is a great job on the razors!

... I think I'll purchase a coping saw one of these days. I am also thinking the coping saw is the only way to cut my acetate pen blanks for the wedges. Does anyone know how else to cut acetate/acrylic? I tried on my scroll saw but it heats up too fast and causes a really bad smell from the burning. I am curious to know how other guys have cut acrylic. I also have one of the general purpose cutting bits for my dremel and it seems to do the job but make a bit of a mess form acrylic flying everywhere.
Unless you want to cut many scales per day, a coping saw is all you need. I use it to cut wood and acrylic scales. I even use it on very hard woods as ebony or pink ivory. I just have to use more saw blades on this woods. The coping saw is a really cheap tool. Also the saw blades cost very little.
