What's new

First straight, hope I did OK

Looks nice to me - I reckon you done good :thumbup1:

The edge looks clean and the wear is fairly even - I reckon it'll hone well and will be a pretty good shaver.

I wish I could find razors in that good of shape around here they all are rust buckets here in eastern north carolina.

90% of what I find in the wild is rusty with warped scales and the shop-keeper wants a fortune for it.
True plus I have a guy around my area who buys anything and everything shaving related regardless of it's condition. He seems to beat me to most of the razors when I have the cash to go out hunting.

I like it. I went out looking this weekend and all I found was a Kleen Kutter (I am guessing that was it, it was hard to see) that had a pretty bad frown and a chip in the blade about midway. Shop wanted $70. Nobody there could open the case so I kept looking. It was no biggie though, I wasn't going to pay that much anyway.

You done good. I had a Henckels&Hammesfahr that was an exceptional shaver. It's since gone to another member. Also have a Gottlieb&Hammesfahr which I'm assuming is somehow connected which is a phenomenal shaver.

Henckels are fantastic shavers. I unfortunately sold mine as well (to a member here), but I can tell you that my Henckels held an edge like few other razors in my roatation could. It just kept going, and going, and going.....They really are great shavers!!
