I did a double debut this morning and finally used my lonely Omega 10065 and a long-neglected puck of Arlington that I bought nearly a year ago. I've been a dedicated cream user since I started and the soap experience is definitely different, between the brush and the hardness of the soap it took me three tries to really work up a solid lather. First time was way too watery and got used as pre-shave (a kind of abbreviated Kyle's prep), second lasted only one pass, but third time was pretty solid. And then...almost no burn on the alum post-shave alum! That's pretty rare for me, and especially in the past couple of weeks, so this is a very encouraging start.
