First shave with SE.............

This was my grandfather's razor, so I was really looking forward to using it. Unfortunately, the name on the blade box doesn't match the experience that you get from shaving with them............ Not to deter me from my quest, I'm off to the store today to see what they have. From what I did feel, the razor feels pretty aggressive, altho' I'm sure that the "high quality blade" played a role........... I think they came from him as well.

Try the Gem Personna stainless blades available at most Walgreens. You will definitely feel the difference. I personally don't like carbon blades and thats what the Treets are and also might be rusting. All the Gem razors shave very very good. Give it a second chance.

Second chance for sure, I'm not going to let a crappy blade ruin the day for me..........

I don't know how old those blades are, but the new Treet blades I've used are pretty quick to rust. Chances are good that the edge has enough damage to give you a rough shave. Good to see you won't give up though.
