I must say, that is one aggressive shave. I haven't shaved for about 4 days now, and since I just rearranged my razors in my pipe racks, I had the opportunity to pick a new razor for the rotation. I got the New Standard a couple weeks back, but never got a chance to try it out. I have quite a few Gillettes and I don't think any have felt like this one did. Even my Fatboy or Slim on the higher numbers didn't feel the same. The shave was great. It was really close without any razor burn whatsoever, and that was after 5 passes since the beard was getting long. Used a Derby blade, which I had considered an okay but not great blade. It hadn't been that great of a performer in the adjustables, but I guess it works with these 3 piece razors.
