Any thoughts on how they compare to Shick Kronas? SWMBO is interrested in trying out a DE and I'm trying to find a suitably mild one for her.

I prefer my Krona over the Knack, but that's mainly because I really, really, really like the Krona. The Knack felt a little top heavy, which isn't a bad thing.The grip is what I liked about the Knack.

I bought a Knack about 2 weeks ago, I never got to shave with it, my mother just fell in love with it and I gave it to her.

I remember reading about that! I don't know yet if I'll keep it or sell it. Did like the grippy handle on it...
What my mom likes about it the most is the long handle. She says it gives her better control, and the grippy handle is a little more grippy than her cartrige things. She talked my wife in to getting a Lady Gillette, She asks me every day if it has come in yet, I only ordered it Saturday.

It is an SS head, it's just bolted onto a rubber handle.
I found a slim twist (non adjustable) at a jumble sale in Munich two weeks ago which looks just like yours but with a plastic handle. It shaves beautifully and seems very mild compared to my regular Merkur 34c. Perfect for friends who want to have a go a proper shaving.
I bought a Slim Twist a few weeks ago. It is mild and I use it on days when my skin is particularly sensitive - usually as a result of an overly enthusiastic shave the day before with a more aggressive razor.

It does. I also picked one up a few weeks ago (not in Munich, sadly) and I really like the shave. It does remind me a bit of the Krona, as the shave is similar, But it shaves a lot like like a Brit (which it is) if that makes sense. Both are great razors.
