Had my first shave with a feather blade tonight. First new blade i have tried since starting DE wet shaving 6 months ago using derby blades.
All i can say is the shave went really well i had a couple of minor nicks which did'nt phase me and no irritation or hardly any irritation on my neck compared to a shave with the derby blade.
Only the first shave, don't want to jump the gun but it was a great shave so i will give it a thumbs up for a closer shave than the derby and significant reduction in irritation.
Now i just have to work my way through the rest of my sample pack which has astra,crystal,personna red i think,gillette 7o'clock and iridiums.
I will let you know all what happens when i use the rest of the feathers and the other blades in my sample pack.
Nearly forgot my razor was a 38c and i used TH uc pre shave oil and the shave cream whichi lathered in my scuttle,once again it was a great shave + 1
