Ok, so I did it and managed not to nick myself in the least little bit. The first reaction after it was all over was: "damn! I did it. And my mach 3 NEVER got as close as this Vision. And NO BLOOD!" Overall, I was super, super pleased and the face feels as smooth as a glass.
I only got a little razor burn on my neck where my hair grows towards my ears and I have to shave on a diagonal. Is there a way to actually shave in this direction without getting irritation?
Ok, so here are some things I need to learn to fix.
1. Since I was slow starting out & deliberate, the cream on my face seemed to dry a little bit and didn't feel as nice & wet as the side I was shaving by the time I got to the other side. Is this common? Or will this become a non-issue as my speed increases?
2. Is there anyway to keep the shaving mug & brush warm so the lather stays warm when I reload for the South to North pass? Mine seemed to be just above room temperature, I'd like it to be as piping hot as the first application. Does anyone have any ideas?
3. This is more of a statement than a question, but I'd be interested to see if anyone else had/has this feeling too. My face feels like it's been shaved, not just cut. It has a little numbness to it, followed by an intense warm softness. I've never felt that before. Does anyone know what I'm talking about or am I crazy? Even sitting here typing this, my face just feels softer than I'm used to. If this is what is to be expected in the future, I'm very very pleased.
I'm sure I'll have more questions, but I'm not going to waste anymore bandwidth..
Thanks in advance..
Justin
