First shave complete

I'm alive!

First shave with a Merkur HD completed. I just did my cheeks and chin but no weepers and got a good Close shave. First bit was actually quite intimidating but once I got the arm and shoulder motion down it was no problem. I did a standard WTG and XTG but not against. Here's to my face not falling off!

I used ishave pre-shave oil citrus and sandalwood, col conkers almond soap (gotta work on my lather skills, back to YouTube I go) and an alum block that stung a bit. An EJ better badger has some serious funk smell that I'll try and wash out. Used the Merkur blade, kinda sucked, but should get my sample pack soon. With my cella, Bluebeard pre and post shave oils.

Congratulations on the clean, no blood shave, lol. That's a great razor. I have a Futur that I dearly love. The Merkur HD is on my list for a future purchase. New brushes can have a less than desirable odor. Look at shavewiki for breaking in a new brush.
