First red wings

First pair of Red Wing boots I owned lasted about 17 years. I replaced them with these...now about 15 years old. Still hanging in there.

Just bought a pair of the Pecos without steel toe last month. I love them already. Relatively short break in period.

I worked for a tree service in college and redwings (made in USA) was all I wore, they lasted for an average of 2 years. I recently bought a pair of blacksmith as well as wolverine 1000 miles and Allen Edmonds sutter mills. Redwings are crazy heavy, wolverines are an odd fit, run extremely large, my AE are by far my favorite from a weight/comfort standpoint. The redwings seemed to be made the best while the wolverines are the best looking.
