First Pre-War Tech shave

I have two '38-'41 heavy handle Techs. I keep one with a blade and a small Rudy Vey badger brush in a tall pill bottle in my travel gear. My go-to set up for travel. Always there, always a dependable mild shave.

The pre-war is the one with triangular holes and the fat handle, right? I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on Ebay. Looks like they came in gold as well as silver (nickel). Correct?
Yes on the triangle holes. As far as colors, they also had black handle with gold. I must stop there because that is the limit of my knowledge.

When my daughter is over, she plays with me during "shaving time." I shave, and she plays with old soaps/empty spray bottles/etc. She mixes up some old soaps to make a concoction and then attacks me with an old synthetic shaving brush. Priceless.

Enjoy your shaves with your son!
