I began my experience with fountain pens on Father's Day with a Lamy Logo. There was some apprehension because I'm a lefty but the pen has performed better than expected. Now it's time to experiment with a converter and all those ink choices
Congratulations on reveiving your new Lamy! I carry a Vista every day. I sign my name a lot so I ordered the 1.1mm nib and really like it.
Getting a converter is a must. The Lamy converters work very well and allow you to use bottled ink. It is amazing how long one bottle will last you. Good Luck with your Lamy.
I'll second the 1.1 stub; it's one of my favorite nibs (on my Al-Star). A convertor will open up a world of inks to you (and save you money in the long run).
Welcome! Haven't tried that particular Lamy, but it's a very attractive one. Ink choices are a big part of the fun. I'm trying blues and purples right now, but there's something for everyone.
Of course, you'll want at least a couple of more pens just so you can try different inks at the same time. Doesn't have to be a lot, just one or two...
