First Near Perfect shave

ive been wet shaving for about 3 months. Overall I’ve has very good success. Shaved this evening after a hard day in the yard and the stars aligned for a perfect shave.

Karve brass with a C plate, Astra sp, WCS silver tip, TOOBS Eaton college Cream. Three passes, no irritation at all and perfectly smooth.

Finished off with Gaelic Tweed after shave. Now a glass of wine....

Good lord! A straight can do that! It is like the blitzkrieg of personal hygiene.

It was only a few months ago that I posted what I considered a legitimate BBS shave. And yes...the laurels and accolades were forthcoming.

I'd have to look it up to be sure, but I'll bet it was Progress with a Personna blue.

BBS is not something I claim often.
