First Issue, and Resolution to Mystic Water Soap

So I'm one of those guys that never had a problem lathering mystic water soap of any variety. when the new Viola di Bosco with allantoin came out, I bought it. I loved it so much that I used it exclusively and even washed my face with the puck, as it for some reason stopped my normal allergy related itching. Then out of the blue, I couldn't get it to lather. Then it happened again. I couldn't believe it. I remembered some of the advice to folks who struggled with it. The thing that ended up working was scratching the surface. The puck went back to the mystic water I knew. I think by washing my face with it, I smashed the surface down, and left it out uncovered. I think it changed how much I was picking up/loading. Long story short, if any of you run into this issue, scratch the surface. I also now sympathize with those who had problems before. I'm glad scratching the surface worked because this viola di Bosco is my new favorite.

I agree completely. I think this is a soap that needs to be used everyday in order to keep its effectiveness. I've set mine aside as I have scents that are better for winter months and when that time comes ill just 3017 them. When you do that they are great performers

I've noticed that some of my grated soaps end up performing really well because I leave the tops kind of lumpy, which I think makes them load better

Please excuse my ignorance.... but what does "3017 them" mean? :D

Exactly as Michelle describes, using the product faithfully everyday until its done. This time of year I might get to each of my MW scents once a week and to be honest the scents are better for fall/winter (although the Sardinian honey is extraordinary). So it's not right to use them every so often and have them not get their full potential when I can set them aside, wait for October and have back to back pucks that'll carry me into 2014, performing like the champions they are. If I had one of the citrus scents or menthol types I'd 3017 them now
